Fundamentals of Home Inspection

Professional training built for real inspection work

Learn directly from experienced, working home inspectors in a focused twelve-day live course. You can attend online from anywhere we serve or join us in the SOPHI classroom in Burien, Washington.

Live expert instruction

Licensing, certification, and exam preparation

Build the technical knowledge, professional judgment, and test-taking confidence needed for professional certification, the National Home Inspection Examination, and state licensing where required.

Attending live online

Online students participate in real time and are expected to be ready to learn for the full class day. Keep your camera on, join from a quiet location, and do not work, drive, or schedule appointments during class hours. Review our computer prerequisites before enrolling.

Washington students

Field training is available separately

Washington licensing also requires 40 hours of supervised field training and five complete inspection reports. SOPHI offers a dedicated field-training program led by experienced inspectors.
