Yesterday the sun came out so we took a short walk around the neighborhood.  We always find great examples to share.  Within 2 blocks we have almost every type of siding and roofing.  These walks really help students to recognize different products, how they are installed and in some instances, how they fail over time.

Our next class starts April 2nd, call us for more information or registration.

Inspecting the local Real Estate office across the street

One of my favorite stops on the tour is our local real estate office. Interesting building with several kinds of siding exterior features to inspect.

Across the street, we have another great example building, this one with asbestos siding and even some old asphalt siding too.

"Stucco" building with EIFS repairs

We learn a lot about “stucco” in class. This building has a “stucco” cladding with a hidden surprise.

We inspected this church about 7 years ago, now with a new pastor, they have made such great improvements! Every class we stop by and take a look at their progress. I love to see older tired structures we inspect be restored, and they look like they are doing a great job.
