Today we are doing field training.  We have spent the last 100 hours  in the classroom learning all kinds of stuff, today we get to inspect it for real.

Each student is completing a report and we will go over them all together to assure we are inspecting  to the State Standards of Practice.

Cindy checking out the insulation and duct work, she  is not afraid to get a little dirty in the  attic or  crawlspaces.  She will make a great inspector.

It was a long day with all the students, but we learned a lot.  Soon they will be taking the state exam and beginning a new career.

I may complain, teaching 120 hours in 10 days, plus weekend field training is exhausting, and it is!  But damn, I really do love my job.
