Schedule:<\/strong> 12 days total – Monday to Saturday, Sunday off, then another Monday to Saturday.

This 120-hour state-certified course is taught live online by experienced home inspectors. You’ll learn inspection laws, Standards of Practice (SOP), and practical techniques. It fulfills the education requirement to take the National Home Inspector Exam (NHIE). The State of Washington<\/strong> also recognizes your SOPHI certification for its home inspector licensing requirements.<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    <\/strong>Once you complete the course, you\u2019re eligible to take the National Home Inspector Exam<\/strong>, which is administered by     PSI<\/a> <\/strong>at 7 locations across Oregon.
    -200 multiple-choice questions
    -4-hour time limit
    -Exam fee: $225
    Keep your PSI score report\u2014you\u2019ll need it when applying

  3. Apply for Your Oregon Certification
    <\/strong>You\u2019ll submit your application to the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB), including:
    -Completed exam score report

  4. Register Your Business<\/strong>
    To perform inspections in Oregon, you must operate under a licensed contractor business. Options include:
    -Residential General Contractor
    -Residential Specialty Contractor
